Instead of ftp divx files from PC to Xbox via Ethernet cable, is it possible for the Xbox to copy the file from the CD-R to the Xbox HDD?
I have a Samsung drive.

Hi!
Sure! Just use a file manager on the xbox.
There is BoXplorer, XCommander an more.

By the way, do i need to burn the disc in any special way for CD-R with a divx file or mp3 files?
Or is that only for game discs only.

Yeah, if you have nero, burn them in UDF and click the box that says "force DVD-Video compatibility"
