I dont think XBMP has a Quictime codec although I could be wrong... I cant play MOV neither.

XBMC will play them but with the last release I tried, I couldn't have audio.

I don't know about the newest builds (I'd guess not from your experiences) but last time I checked there was no Quicktime support.

if you check in the codec dir ( xbmp/dll ) there is a readme file of sorts, gives you a link to where u can get codecs for xbmp, but alas, not all mov files will play... mostly older than qt5:(
realplayey movies too... nothing newer than 6 maybe?

Just had to test some things:) I put my xvid.dll file in the dll folder and now i can watch my xvid movies... why didnt i think of this earlier:) duh!
