Full Version: Which Bios For A New Hard Drive?

hi. i just bought a WD 120g ide 7200rpm hard drive. i was wondering which bios should i use? the evoX M7, the xecuter2 4980_06, the xecuter2 4980_67, or should i use the xecuter2 4979_o6 or the xecuter2 4980_67?

Any xecuter bios after 4976 will work. You only have a 120GB, so you won't need to worry about partition 7 stuff.

Read the documentation!
Your HD will is less than the 137GB limit, so it does not matter which one you use.
Just use the 06 version. (latest version is X2-4980.06)

Because X2 4979 and 4980 have IGR, and M7 doesn't. You have to use a dash that enables IGR (EvolutionX) to use IGR with M7
