wut r resistors used for? and wut is ohm? ive read a few tuts and for the controler port LEDs ive heard to use 100ohm, 120ohm, 260ohm. im rly confuzled.

resistors are kinda self exclametory they resist. in either words if you have a led that takes 3 volts and the xbox gives five you need a resistor to take some of that power so that your led dosnt burn out. as for ohm its a level of measuerment of resistors obviously the higher the ohm the more resistance:)

ok i read a thing on it. if my needed resistor is 70(i dont know measurment. ohm?) and i have 100ohm resistors, will it make the light less bright?

not really that big of a difference it really depends on the amount of input voltage:

input voltage would be 5v probably. ok good thing that wont effect the breightness cuz i got sum 100ohm resistors here.

ya i used 100 ohm on all my LEDs and there fine so i would recomend 100 ohm resistors:)
