Full Version: Nice Addition To The 12v Fan Mod

This is a pretty self explanitory mod really. for those cats that have say a 80mm fan and a cold cathode and god knows what else. those molexes tend to pile up. just hot wire the fan to the psu. smile.gif
pictured is a foxlink from a 1.0 so the points will vary from different versions. but it's a general idea.
hope some people try it and make some room beerchug.gif

i meant for the guys who put in an 80mm fan replacement

You know, all you have to do is tape the black wire to the metal shielding or screw it under the nearest screw and you have a 12v fan, right? Don't need to plug it in anywhere or anything.

This just seems like adding extra unnecessary work..

i meant 80mm fan, not 12v fan mod. i guess it's from seeing the dozens of posts per day rubbed off on me blink.gif
