Hi,

If I got an RGB scart cable for my Xbox, would DVD-X play widescreen DVDs in 16:9 mode (instead of alternating between Pan & Scan and Letterbox as it seems to be doing now) on my widescreen TV?

Using the cables that came with the Xbox I need to set the Presentation Mode manually every time I go to watch something.

Well I just tried setting my Xbox to widescreen mode in the MS dashboard and now DVD-X seems to be starting in 16:9 mode which is good.

So my new question is if I use a scart cable, if the TV is in 4:3 mode and I go to play a 16:9 DVD, will it automatically switch to 16:9?
