hello all, i really screwed this box up i think. i have a version 1.1 box and installed a aladdin advance 64 chip (non socketed) in.

after the install, i power up and it shutdown and restart 3 times and start flashing red and green.

i removed the d0 point, still nothing, won't even boot the ms dash. i removed the mod totally look for solder splash and no go same symthoms.

I think i screwed up that d0 point or something is messed up in my tsop, and i also get no audio or video.

i will go over and check the do point again as i think my problem was i came across a tutorial to soldier to the d0 point on top of the board and thats probable where i have problems then i switched to the underside and still no go.

the box seems to be checking for a bios to boot so i probable have d0 screwed up or i @#% my bios/tsop up.

any ideas and or suggestion. thanks. i had ordered two of the same chips just in case, but since it won't even boot the ms dash, does this means something else is wrong?

there must be some pros around here, need your help, thanks.

Aladdin 64? Isn't that a PS2 chip?
Never heard of an Aladdin Xbox mod....is it new?

no, it's an xbox modchip, although i thought it was called the aladdin advance.

check for any solder spashes or damage around the area you were soldering

The aladdin advance 64 is an xbox chip found here http://www.aladdin-chip.com/ . Its a simple mod actually, just my first for xbox. thanks.

Got it up and running, i traced the d0 line under the video chip and soldier a wire fro the point it broke on top to the point on the back. It booted up no problem. I then reinstalled the mod and it still booted up in both mode, thanks.
