ok i got evox booting from a cd. lets say i add a file to my cd called evoxdash.xbe "(what my bios looks for). can i use boexplorer to transport over the skins, evox.ini, and evoxdash.xbe to my c:/?

Yes, that will work. You have the option to rename files so you could xfer over the default.xbe file and just rename it to evoxdash.xbe. Just make sure that boXplorer is in a folder named apps on your cd-rw and you configure your evox.ini file so it points to it.

i sorta have a problem like that i cant ftp(no network card) and i dont wanna connect thru router. how would u exactly do this i wanted to get evox on for soo long but couldnt.

It wouldn't be hard to do:
Just modify your evox.ini file like so...

Section "Apps" { AutoAddItem "d:apps" AutoAddItem "e:apps" AutoAddItem "f:apps" SortAll } |
Then on your evox boot disc include a folder named apps. In that folder put the boXplorer app folder. Then launch boXplorer through your EvoX boot disc and xfer the files from your d: drive to your c: partition.

There is a cd available that will install EvoX and the other apps for you. "Slayers" no need for ftp

slayers is outdated, and if an evox boot disc won't boot, then slayers won't boot. besides that, you don't learn anything with slayers, and it takes a long time to download.
