I have installed a 7200rpm WD hardrive and am getting HDD temps up around 50 deg celsius. The CPU temp has reached 58 degrees.
Does anyone know the optimum operating temperatures of the CPU and the HDD?
(basically what I'm getting at is hould I install another fan)
thank you in advance!

CPU Temp Should Range From About 40º-65ºC (104º-149ºF)
Motherboard Temp Should Range From About 33º-49ºC (90º-120ºF)

I have a 120gb 7200rpm WD hard drive and my temps are pretty similar to yours. If you want to lower the temps, u can do the 80mm fan mod. But it really inst needed because those temps are alright.

you could also do the 12v fan mod. very simple to do.
