Someone really needs to help me out please. I recently bought a dvr-105 from pioneer. the cd appears to work with data when a cd is in it, but when it comes to burning NONE of the dvd burning software will recognize my dvd burner. I believe it is because windows xp recognizes it as being a usb mass storage device, and obviously I do not want this. Please someone let me know how to get windows to recognize it as being a dvd drive. Btw, it is external with 2.0 usb and firewire.

AlSO: if i were to buy a firewire card would i be getting the same problems? thank you!
