OK, I have a xenium chip thats flashed and I am wanting to put files onto my xbox. Such as evolution x onto my hdd. However I don't have a cable/dsl connection so can't link them. I want to just move files from cd-rw's onto the xbox. I heard you can use a program called boxplorer to do this. However I was given instructions from this link http://dwl.xbox-scene.net/~xbox/xbox-scene...utorials/02.pdf to do so. It has a older version of evolution x in example and has xboxplorer instead of boxplorer. However it won't read my CD and no dummy file will help. Someone please help I'm going nuts!

Buy a crossover cable and you wont need CD-RWs.

did you burn the disc with the boxplorer xbe renamed to default.xbe in the root directory? Did you burn the disc in Game Disc Format or UDF? (either will work)

I took the default.xbe from the evolution x folder and put it in the root directory. I'm not sure what I did wrong. This is where I'm at though.

i beleive he was saying he doesnt have cable/dsl connection and has no where to plug the cable in to
