Ok
First evox worked fine (version 3935) without the cd. Everything was as it should be, I was completely finished. However, I wanted the Xecuter 4981.06 bios instead of the M7 just be personal preference (I liked how it says xecuter instead of MS). So I copied the bin file (after making it 1mb in X2BM) into the Bios folder of evox, and then booted up. It was there, and I flashed it, nut then evox was gone when I booted back up. It went to the standard MS dash after saying Xecuter2 (thats how I know the flash worked). I opened FlashFXP to see what happened, and the Evox files are still there! The new xboxdash.xbe, evox.ini, bios, skin, and msxboxdash.xbe- it was all there. My question then is this. How did this happen and how do I fix it? can I clear the Bios eeprom on my Xecuter 2.3B Lite Plus? If you read all this, thanx.

Rename Evox to evoxdash.xbe, and call the MS dash xboxdash.xbe

Yup.

You can use the program "Boxplorer" to rename files.

Hey thanx a lot
It worked first try. That saved me a lot of trouble. Thanks again.

so does this mean the new evox biso boot msxboxdash.xbe BEFORE xboxdash.xbe? i thought that was the problem with the 4980 bios that they fixed in 4981

you can change the boot sequence to whatever files you want to boot and in what order by using XBtool smile.gif
