Okay I am trying to install an x2.2 lite plus but when I enable the chip it frags. boots fine when disabled. I check the LPC w/ multimeter and it appears fine. I havent installed another chip yet cause its a quick solder and its a bitch to get out if it doesnt work. So I am wondering if you guys think its the xbox or the chip?

Same happened to me....but it's just not quite sitting correctly, however, it does mean you have good contact with the d0 point. Unscrew it most of the way and press down on the chip with ur finger (while it is alligned correctly) until you get it to boot without fragging. Keep messin with it til ya get it. The screw it down CAREFULLY and keep it alligned. You'll get it eventually... thats why I prefer solder ones.
