I bought an x2pro as soon as they came out and I have never had this problem in the year I have had a moded xbox. I jsut tried a TSOP modded xbox and its having the same problem. I alwaysed used a router but yesterday I bought a cross over cable because I thought the router was the problem. Well the crossover cable didn't fix anything. I have tried from 2 xbox's, router or crossover cable, and my desktop and my laptop. I am using win xp home on one and xp pro on the other. I have no idea why this problem started. I am sure I used tuts back in the day but I've used a shitload of them and I have no idea what ones. The x2pro modchip has the recent bugged bios and the TSOP has the previous release of bios that are good.
