Hey
I just backed up my original copy of NFS: Underground, but I have a problem:
This is what happens:

-I insert the backup disk.
-EvoX recognises it as a game.
-I get a black screen as it initialises.
-It then takes me back to EvoX

I tried copying it again, in case it was a bad burn or disk, to no avail.
I also tried ripping it to my hard disk, when i ran the xbe file, it did the same as when i just the disk.

I have a cheapmod (fitted about 8-9 mnths ago with "cromwell" BIOS)

Any help is greatly apprieciated.

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but what does patching it involve?

Grab Craxtion and read the tutorial for using it. it is very easy to use software. But if you don't patch an orginal it will not boot.
