Ok, I'm a little excited/confused about 1 feature in the new EEpromer program v0.4:

yes... if the HD is lockable, EEpromer can lock/unlock the HD. i've just used the EEpromer tonight on a Segate 80G drive and it locked the HD successfully without probs (i was just too dang lazy to hook it up to my spare comp to lock the drive).

you guys are sooo lucky i locked my hdd using unlockx with a wrong pass and it didnt save anything that holds my old password so nwo i'm fucked

Unlockx saves the password you used in a date and time stamped file this format "11_23_18.TXT".
Look in the directory where unlockx is ??

Unlock the drive.
Put drive back into your xbox
Run EvolutionX backup eeprom
Read password for drive

i'm not sure rim... as my xbox was v1.0

it worked on my v1.0 and i will try the v1.1 tomorrow when i get another hd.

Ok, for anyone that cares, I have tested EEpromer v0.4 with an IBM DeskStar 180GXP, and it succesfully locked the HD.
