hey, i installed my xecuter on a v1.0 xbox and was hesitant to solder the tiny d0,as im not experienced. so what i did was bend the tip of the wire to a 90 degree angle, put it on the d0 and electrical tape on. its been working fine for about a week now.. sounds good, but could there be problems?

If it aint broke don't fix it... it's been a year what makes you think it will quit working?

If it works it is fine, other than making sure you have a good connection, soldering is used to hold or secure a connection. So by puting tape on it you have some what of a solderless connection!!!! Leave it be!!!! As long as it is working.
