I used eeprom 0.4 on an xbox 1.1 with evo-x 2812 to lock an WD 80 GB disk. The backup options doesn't work on a V1.1 with Evo-x..........so eeprom 0.4 was my only option. The disk worked fine, but I wanted to lock it for xbox live.

I locked the HD with eeprom and now the box boots up with service needed! I am not able to get the disk working anymore. It seems locked with the wrong locking code, which I don't have because eeprom 0.4 didn't give me a code

So be carefull with eeprom 0.4, anyone have a solution to this problem? Is it possible to remove the lock without have the code?

Well if nothing works, I'm gonna degauss the disk like hell with a special DLT whiper and return it to the shop as broken
