Ok i have a xbox with an enighma soldered inisde of it. I have the beta version of evox on the HD. The xbox was working fine. Then xbox live was installed to the box. So i fitted the xbox with a switch exactly like the tutorial on xbox-scene (i even used the same exact switch). i have check and check and checked the soldering points, they are fine. Problem is, when the switch is in the on position the xbox wont boot to either msdash or evox. There is no green and red or orange flashing lights so i figure my points are fine. Its nothing but a blank screen. When the switch is in the off position the xbox boots to msdash and can play normal xbox games. Also with the switch in the off position i cant log into LIVE. I get an ok for cables connected and an ok for ip and an ok for DNS, but the last part with logging into xbox liveit says it cant find xbox network. I dont have a backup of c and e for this box. This is a friends box. im at a loss and pulling my hair out. I think it might be a problem when xbox live was installed and it messed up my evox and ms dash for the mod. If anyone can help please do ..........

The length of the wires is very important.

If you made them too long the mod chip will not work.

Sounds like you were banned if Xbox Live can't be found.

thank you for your feedback......i dont think i can make the wires any smaller......could it be a problem that my evox dash was messed up or my msdash was messed up when xbox live was installed? Also is there a way for me to get xbox live off the xbox without using the mod ...since my mod isnt working? This is what puzzels me.....boot the xbox with the xbox turned off, and it boots to msdash. Then i switch the mod on and put in a backup .....it looks like its about to load and then it dies out on me......its switches screens to just the black background and the xbox symbol that says MS on it ...then goes back to msdash and says the whole this is not an xbox disc thingy.
Lastly, if i turn off the mod and boot the xbox....then turn on the mod, will the modchip take over? Or does the switch need to be in a position before the xbox is turned on? idk im so lost and it killing me i cant figure this thing out.....any help is appreciated

If your switch is ok (which it isn't) you would be able to boot from a DVD without any problem.

The no-video is symptomatic of a bad connection or missing line.

so u think its the switch that is the problem ?

Also i checked the wires and made them as short as posible....it sux cause the damn wires have to go around the board.......if i just take the switch out and have the mod in with no switch i still should be able to boot backups and an evox cd right ? Lets then say that i boot an evox cd and can once again log into my xbox.......can i then take off xbox live and anything that it did.....(i know that will not help the banned part).......but will it help out anything done by xbox live dash ? i think im reaching out too far now....lol
