I attempted to install the new version of Slayer's on my modded (Chameleon) Xbox, and now it will not boot to the hard drive or cdrw. Slayer's appeared to install properly, but when I attempted to reboot after the install, I got the dreaded error screen. Is it possible to put the HD in my PC, format it, and reinstall the factory files? How would I do this? Im sorry if I am being repetitive, but I had trouble finding answers to this particular problem by searching the archives. Thanks!

You should be able to boot off the Slayers CD and FTP into your XBox.

Just FTP the contents of C & E onto the new C & E partitions that the Slayer's disk created for you.

You should have that data from the backup you created before fomatting the drive. You did create a backup didn't you?
