I'm, a noob to backing up games so any help would be a great help.

I have read many tutorials and plucked up the courage to back up a game.
-I FTP'd my box's D: to my PC using FlashFXP. ALL FINE
-I created an Xiso image using SimpleXISO, again ALL FINE
-Burnt image using Nero 6.0 on my Pioneer 106D burner, ALL FINE.
BUT, when I place my backup in my XBOX and select Launch DVD in EvoX is goes to loading screen, shows the xbox logo then returns to the dashboard as though the disc failed a media check.

I DO have a modded Xbox that does everything else I need, all but this.

I have read on some forums about PATCHING the xbe files, I assume the default.xbe of the game disc. Does this REALLY need to be done as very few tutorials mention this.

Another thing, I tried launching the game from my HD but it still will not load.

Have tried 3 diff games, all hang

PLEASE, PLEASE help..........
To patch or not to patch, and could someone point me to somewhere that tells how to do it and what I will need

After reading many posts I tried d'loading ADR Patcher because I found out that all games manufactured after February 2003 have a madia check built into their xbe files.

Patched xbe's and games run flawlessly.
