My XBOX seems to freeze when playing NTSC games, i have switched to NTSC using the video switcher program but still no joy. I can play UK games fine - but when i play an NTSC game for 'x' amount of minutes its freezes.
Any Ideas?

You only need to switch video modes if your TV is NTSC. Try leaving the region settings evox at automatic.
