hey guys, i installed 250 gb hdd and it only recognizes 120g in partition6. how do i get it all??? chameleon chip. ive read some other tutorials in the forum but im not quite sure what to do. please be descriptive. im still kind of a newbie. thanks

you need to make sure you bios is set up correctly to recognize the entire drive...What bios did you use?

i did it back in october so i dont remember what i used. any recommendations?what your teling me is i need to reprogram the chip with bios. i have th programmer that connects to my serial port on computer and thats how i access the banks.which bank should i put it in?

You need one of the newer bios's that support LBA48, that way you can utilise the extra 113 odd gigs.

Slayers is in no way a cure-all...
Use a BIOS with LBA48 support (any latest Xecuter)...
