Ok Ive gotten some songs on the XB via ftp...but to be honest im not too crazy about the XMP interface as it is now. Also the fact I cant play any of my transferred songs in games defeats some of the purpose for me personally.

So my question is would there be any way to FTP my mp3 files over the to the default XBOX location.....That way i can access them from the standard xbox dashboard and use them for custom soundtracks ?

Im not sure if the xbox dash only takes WMA or what.... Any info would be great.

You have to use .wma files to get custom music into games. The xbox doesn't support the mp3 format.
