What is the easiest way to switch dvd roms drive between xbox. Can I just unplug it and switch the dvd rom drive? My previous xbox can read cdr. My new xbox can't.

they are all plug and play ( interchangeable) thompson,phillips,samsung. Just open the box, take out the screw thats in the middle that holds down the hard drive (its under the ribbon cable) , take out two screws at the front of the dvd tray, lift up hard drive tray so that you can take the dvd tray out, then unplug it and swap.
