you can set up a shopping cart system with paypal to order items if you can't get anything else to work
i'd be willing to buy the eject led assembly if it's already put together and just needs to be snapped into place with no case modification. but by the looks of the bulky led holder it's going to take a lot of modifying to get it in the eject led

That was just a test setup so I can quickly program color schemes and such. The bulbs themselves are 5mm led's with 4 30guage wires comming out the rear. It takes a little dremeling to get the setup to fit in the eject area so the power button PCB fits in correctly. I can also eighter have the ground tapped from the PCB ( with a bit of soldering ) or just built into the connector to the mainboard...
Once I get a special card setup with the bank, I will open up a paypal account and do that, thanks for reminding me!

I keep posting like a crack-head, but I have a question: To stop the sequence at a certain color, would a toggle switch be alright as opposed to a pushbutton. Or a push-on, push-off button...

i would like to see a push button. does that sound like alot more work? is this gonna be controlable from the dash?

I will look into dashboard controlability, but AFTER I finish a basic model. Seems like I would need a special bios, special dashboard code to use this bios, and more hardware for the Kits themselves. It most likely wont happen.
Like I said, I can use a toggle or a push-on, push-off switch... Until I get a handle on the PIC chips interrupt system...

No, I got the idea when I saw RGB led's in a DigiKey catalog actually... That was over 6 months ago

I am up to 4 modded PS2's with Full Spectrum FX tech, and windows. It is sort of wierd to see an animated lighting system on a game console - maybe it is just me.

With the cash from these PS2 mods, I will order my 3rd batch of goodies from digikey.com and lsdiodes.com.
I have learned from my PS2 adventures. First, the voltage regulators get pretty hot and need heatsinks (on my list of goodies). Second, Sharp Microeletronics' 5V regulator puts out 5.71V and the PIC chips dont like that so the regulator model is SHIT! Third, I NEED TO GET MY ASS GOING ON THE XBOX VERSION AGAIN!!!

ASAP. Will keep updating. Later

l2u84n 666, the link in your sig isn't working for me... I'd really like to see your kits, but I've tried 4 times, and it just won't load..

Tried it myself and it works... Does anyone else have trouble?
Edit: I only have pics of a PS2 I did with 3 windows and alternating colors. The other pictures are of a RGB test circuit I use to debug the PIC programs and scemes. Pictures to come are of the actual circuit board and of the Xbox implication when I get the parts for that. Sorry for the delays.
