I have a V1 which I put an enigmah in and it booted all copies OK.
I needed the chip for another machine so I removed it and when I got the Xecuter I put one of those in. Now I can not get Halo to run and some other games. I have more than one copy ofeach game (in case my backups got damaged) and have tried these but these do not work.
Does Halo work with this chip.
Also it doesnot always want to boot, is there a special way to boot these chips.
One thing I did do, when I installed the chip I did not want to solder directly to the board so I used some extension legs, so I could remove the chip, Is this my problem.

The "little wires" method works, but I found it to be unreliabe. I had to keep resoldering the wires all the time. I switched to the pin-header install, and so far so good! Plus I am ready for X2, and I don't have to solder on my LPC any longer. I am sure the MoBo appreciates it
