ok if it takes a while to be banned from xbox live could i throw on my old chipped box and grab some content ?
I can always jump on with the unmodded box after right?

in theory yes
why cant you just disable the chip?

with my chip(think it is an executer2) and a 120 gig hdd i was under the impression given to me by the mod chipper that i couldnt disable it ,and i dont know how to get the content from my other box (unmodded at this stage)or where it resides ie what folder

if its an x2 (or any LPC modchip for that matter) you can disable it
as for grabbing the stuff off your unmodded box it wont work, since since the content gets tied to that specific xbox
check the x2 forums, there should be a tutorial for adding a disable switch if you dont have one, this way your modded box wont get banned so when they come out with new content you can downlaod that too, lol
