First time working with a 1.4 box. I installed the 2.3b pro without the programmer and can NOT get the machine flashed. In fact, I can't get anything except a triple boot with the final boot flashing red.
I have the latest 4981 Bios which should work with the 1.4 and I understand because I have the Focus encoder I won't see the cromwell screen. Still, I never even get the eject. Help! I've re-soldered d0 twice without any different results.
Also- I have a bunch of extra xboxes in process. Can I flash the chip in one of those and just plug it into the 1.4??
