I have connected my xecuter 2.3b pro to the programer with usb power. I get the blue lights on the chip and the red light on the programer. I then connect the programer to the serial port and the x2 windows bios software does not detect the chip. It says no xecuter chip found.

I had earlier installed a xecuter 2.3b pro for a friend of mine and had the same issue with his LPT cable too. Thats why I baught the programer.

I have gone to the bios and changed the serial settings but it still does not find the chip.

I know I'm doing something wrong. Would really like some leads or help in this case.
