I've borrowed a few backups off a friend and they work fine, but every backup I've made is all jerky on the video and audio. I've followed the tutorials on xbox scene but still no joy!!!
Has anyone got a clue whats going on?

I've been using the same media. Either Datasafe Media DVD-R or Bulkpaq orange DVD-R.

Try a different a media. Whatever you're using sounds generic (cheap) and that's likely your problem. Buy a spindle of Riteks and see if your problem goes away.

Try burning at the lowest speed possible.

I'm already using discs with Ritek die and I burn them at 1X using Nero5/6.
