(I posted this on another board with no luck...Maybe I'll get an answer here)
I'm trying to hook a friend up using a different chip than what I have used in the past. We've checked the solder points using continuity to the chip socket and all seems well. I'm using Dysfunction's diagram modified to not use a switch.
By this I mean I simply tied OE and CE directly to ground (no resister) and also tied WE to 5V. E# is tied to 5V.
Can't get it to boot on the V1.0 xbox he has. I'm using many different bios's to no avail. I'm wondering if this chip is compatible?
