| You do not need the RC4 key. |

wow BenJeremy, you know what is, and didn't take time to answer, you should have just not bothered to post at all. The link which you provided does say what the key is, but in very general terms. It also says:
cool, can you explain to me how to use PBL w/o the debug rc4 key? Thanks. buzzinrich, its like this, the bios image (.bin) is actually a compressed image, inside of which are 3 files: 2bl xboxkernel remainder The rc4 key that everyone talks about is the one to decrypt the 2bl. Inside of a which is ANOTHER key, which is used to decrypt the actual xboxkernel. The xboxkernel is the end result, which needs the key from the 2bl, which needs to a key to decryt, so that is where you start. The keys are hardly unknown anymore, its pretty much common knowledge. While it still may be considered a 'trade secret', its nothing to really hide anymore. |

The link explains what an RC4 is, in a general sense. Of course, if you are all high and mighty, I can understand why you couldn't be bothered with such a trivial thing like clicking a link. |
