I installed an aladdin chip using wires. I couldnt get solder to stick to the bottom left LPC point (ground connection) so I used the connection on the back of the board, the same LPC hole so i am wondering if this is my problem... Anyways once in awhile the mod will reboot the xbox 2x then boot to the xbox dash and tell me to set the clock, other times it will go to evox like normal and it is REALLY ANNOYING.

Any ideas? I am using the power button to switch modes.

I had a similar problem with my aladdin chip... turns out that it was one or more solder that was cold or just not that good. You might want to check that.

This will be down to the LPC points. You will need to re do the soldering of them. Also if you damaged one of the top LPC points remember you need to repair the connection between the top one and the relevant botton one as well.
