the guy says this aladin is similar to the cheapmod, but if u look at the installation insrtuctions, the link wire connects te modchip to D0 of the xbox, whilst with cheapmod the link wire connects two points on the xbox

It's an ok chip. It's a cheap mod with an xecuter idea. You can use the other d0 point if you want to...Both work. But I will say that $38 is a bit much....I could get you a cheapmod for less than that.
