Your old EEPROM is banned. You need a totally different one. Just get a new EEPROM from Buy and Sell.

hey at least give some help instead of posting purely for the thrill flaming this fellow x-s forum member because of a typo..
regarding your xbox live problem,
I suggest you use something like CONFIGMAGIC to get your eeprom onto your mobo/HD - i would use Slayers EvoX autoinstaller v2.5 - as far as i know you don't need to change anything on the EEPROM

Did you read any tutorial yet?? Check the one that has been bumped. Everything is there.

Don't manually change the settings of your eeprom. That won't work, the eeprom contains more info than just a serial number and region...
