xbconnect is the one anyone smart enough to find these boards would use smile.gif

only n00bs use gamespy...it sucks!

I still like Live the best...though it would be cool to "demo" some backups on xbconnect to see if its worth spending the money on the retail versions to play on Live. I may do that with UC.

i had the same idea--but i think they ban modded xbox's on xbconnect now!

you know what??-I guess i'm TOTALLY wrong...i thought i just read that today before posting that. actually i could of sworn i read that--but can't find anything now that says you can't play with a modded box..so--my mistake!!! sorry!! unsure.gif

i guess i'll give it a shot once my x-ecutor2 gets here.

I don't think that's even possible... You never contact them or anything to play system link games. In order for them to do that they would need to install a program that doesn't allow you to do sys link games (which they COULD with the live update I guess) but that would be illegal because the EULA you agreed to said they could put anything on your xbox for the PURPOSE of upholding the integrity of the live service etc.. Sys link has nothing to do with the live service so they can't do shit about it.
