I have destroyed my header pin, and have tried a wire install. I wish to go back and do the header pin install again. Anyone have any ideas on how I can find a new one?

i just desoldered a pin header from a old 286 motherboard i bought for $4 at a used computer store

I ran into the same problem awhile back, but had no problem
finding a header pin locally. Check at a computer/electronics store
and ask for a 12 pin, 2.5 mm pitch, header. I ended up with two
single rows, but it made no difference what so ever.
