ok i got my modchip flashed and installed correctly i have burned the latest version of Evox and when i go to ftp it nothing will happen. FlashFxp will not ftp it keeps saying timeout. no route or host. i have tried it with a router and a crossover cable

can someone help me

use your router with a straight through cable(reboot all hardware), xbox setting- use the ip router send to xbox in you ftp soft.....aaa
have you read any of these tuts laying around here...?

Well first off what router do you own?
When you set up the crossover cable did you configure your computer?
Hook the cross over cable back up and go to your network connections and right click on your local area connection and go to properties then click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click on the properties button, check the radio button that says use the following IP address and use these setting:
IP Address: 192.168.1.200
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.200
And make sure your evox ini file is configure the same or just use the evox menu system to configure your network connection for your Xbox. Give your Xbox ip 192.168.1.16 and the same for the Default Gateway and the subnet mask should be the same as your computer and make sure the DNS server if left blank on you computer and your Xbox.

Once you give me your router name I’ll show you how to use the network setting going threw your router instead of the crossover cable. Well that should get you to connect to your Xbox.

i have a MS router
