I ordered on Monday and had my sons new PS2 on Wednesday. The PS2 was packaged very well and had all cords, manuals and a controller just as promised. So far the PS2 works great.....

Hello, i ordered my modchip on Sunday, it arrived on wednesday, all 100% authentic in foil warp and everything. Very good service and quailty from these guys, i would trust them. I usually dont say such nice thing about anyone but Impact Marketing actually responded to my emails for inquiry and they were very helpful.

I've order 5 aladdin v64's and 1 cheapmod from this excellent site and have no reservation's ordering more. All chips worked perfectly, they respond to email's within 30 minutes, and they have the best prices I've seen. Great place to get what you need. - Chuck

Have gotten several orders from Impact Mods. Ordered a few duo chips, which are all great, couple of aladdin chips, and 1 mini 50k.

All the ps2 chips came wrapped in a small foil pouch, and worked perfect. Have installed one of the aladdin chips and it works great.

I would recommend these guys to any and everyone. Had some trouble, sent an email and had a response within an hour. What is even more impressive, is that I emailed in the wee hours of the morning and he responded back to me quickly. Either they don't sleep or have an alarm on their email system. Whatever it is they do a great job. Keep it up Impact Mods.

I ordered 2 Aladdin v64's and recieved them like 3 days later. When i heard from a friend that he also wanted his box modded, I promptly ordered another from them. I also asked if I could get a few feet of wire and they included it. I highly recommend this vendor as both my experiences with them were excellent.

P.S. I have yet to install the chips but I am pretty sure they'll be fine.

Bought an aladdin advanced 64 from them great to deal with fast shipping. Would buf from again without any worries A+ all the way.

How fast do these guys reply to emails? I heard very fast, but I bought a PS2 premod this morning and sent the money via Paypal. I received confirmation via Paypal that the funds were transferred, but I never got a confirmation from impactmods.com that my order went through. I have emailed them 3 times today at different times and have yet to get a reply. It seems the site may have messed up and not let my item go through to complete the checkout process. Now I do not have an actual order number, but the funds have been sent. If this site is as good as everyone says then they should fix this IMMEDIATELY!!!! I fear that I will be out the almost $300 that I spent on the site. Someone please tell me if they have ever had a problem like this or maybe how to remedy it. It seems like an easy problem to fix with the site if they would just contact me. I hope they do not screw me.

Update: They just emailed me....it seems I jumped the gun by emailing them so many times. I guess they are just busy like many of the sites are. It did take them a day and a half to reply, but at least they did. They told me my premod would ship by Friday at the latest. It seems these guys are going to turn out to be okay, and I hope to be another satisfied customer.

Update: 06/18/04.....Well it has been 10 days since I placed my order and still no system. UPS shows that they were sent a message from Impact Mods, but they have not scanned it through their system. I noticed they no longer carry PS2 Premod Systems on their site. I sent an email last night to Impactmods.com and received no reply today. They cannot be so busy that they can't reply to the emails that are sent by upset customers on a day to day basis. Customer service does not seem to be priority #1 here. I am very upset that I gave them my business. I wish I would have taken it elsewhere. Especially since I have dealt with places like Modchipman.com and have had wonderful experiences with them. I will let you know if they turn this major problem around into something positive, but something tells me they will not and I will have to file a complaint through Paypal to get my well earned money back.

Update 06/19/04....They finally sent me a message. Its seems their reasons for the delay were jury duty and a set of bad PS2 systems or chips. The reasons seemed legit, but I still had them refund me for the purchase. Hope the rest of you have good luck with Impactmods. Its seems that quite a few of you have had nothing but great experiences with them. As far as the refund I was very pleased to see that they met my needs in a very quick manner. They changed the way I feel about the site and would probably recommend them to others just based on that.

fear not...they will ship your stuff...i just recieved my 3 modchips in the mail and they were perfect

i ordered some duo from them yesterday(paid through paypal) and they have yet to send me a confirmation on my order...hopefully i will get a confirmation soon



update: great service ...got my package on friday...only took him 3 days to get the stuff from US to canada...very friendly A+++

I ordered a 2 mod chips from Impactmods on the June 16th, they sent a tracking number on the 18th and the package arrived on the 21st. I am happy with the service and would do business with them again.

#1 went well .

#2 no order # , no tracking , no email from impact mods that say I ordered 2 Aladdin ... nothing...been 2 weeks now...

Your order was placed on the 28th. It shipped on the 29th. We have been extremely busy with the holidays and are backed up on e-mails for the next few days still. You should be recieving your order in the next couple days as it has already been 7 business days since your item left our hands heading towards Canada.

These guys are first rate. Ship fast. Very cheap. Use them all the time. No problems at all.

Ordered two chips. Got them in acouple of days. Support was slow, so I advise people to use xbox-scene.com to help find tips to fix your problem

the service is crap! i ordered my chips to be shipped to England last week wednesday. i gave them every piece of info i thought i'd need to give them. even paid them $10 for extra 2-3 day shipping sseperately. when it came to friday, i got worried because the chips had not arrived, and i emailed them, reading about the good email service. i waited THe WHOLE WEEKEND for a reply and didn't get one! so there i am emailing them once a day and getting NO reply and NO modchip! i am still very angry at this as im going to have to shell out more money for another modchip! if their reading this, i hope they sort it out!

I ordered a Duo 2SE chip on Tuesday night, got a tracking number on Wednesday and the chip arrived here on Friday. Fast and simple, that's how I like to conduct business. Great job!

These guys are great. I ordered 50 Aladdin Chips on Monday, they shipped on Tuesday and I got them on Thursday. They were even cool enough to include a set of 50 header pins for FREE...I strongly reccomend them!!! I will definatetly be using them again

ordered a cheapmod from impactmods.com on sept 14th, after waiting and waiting i finally checked paypals track and confirm, it turns out usps claims it was delievered yet, there is no sign of the package or any reason to believe it was overlooked, that being said it may be possible it was returned to sender, i am out of a chip and i dont really know what i can do about it.. since the prices are so reasonable i may just order another cheapmod (handy for the 1.6), however this mystery package has me baffled!!

these guys show prompt shipping, and i really have no complaint with impactmods themselves i just wanted to share my experience and make impactmods aware of what happened, an email has been sent via the pages contact us web form.

I will report back with further info, and hopefully my package will appear!

checked my local post office today to see if they had it from a full mailbox or something, sure enough they had it! i was happy UNTIL i opened it up and found a magic3 ps2 modchip

wellll.. shipping seemed to prove fast, justa mixup at post office, but i still dont have my cheapmod, im sure an email will clear this up..

emailed impactmods the same day i posted about finding a magic 3 instead of cheapmod, they requested shipping info and said a cheapmod would be on its way.., still nothing in my mailbox... i guess its time for another email

i ordered a cheapmod on 10-7-04, on 10-22-04 i recieved a brand spankin new magic 3.1, i'm still trying to figure out how to cram it into my xbox
I wrote them and they were pretty quick to respond and promise me a new chip immediately, but it's been a week since that email and i have nothing to show for it. I ordered a chip from clevermod.com on 10-27-04 and it's now in my xbox. I'm glad others have had a good experience with impact mods, and i'm not really upset about it (it was only a 7 dollar purchase after all), but i must say i'm not terribly impressed. Hopefully i will indeed recieve my cheapmod though, as it would come in handy.

afterall the waiting..... sent a pretty nasty email, got a reply on the 29th saying was away/busy with school.. i understand, said 2 cheapmods woudl be sent out instead of my initial order of 1... im STILL waiting.. i guess a couple more days, until i have to email again...... hopefully i wont have to..

another buddy of mine sent payment through money order and emails arent being answered..... someone needs to get on the ball... if you are looking to order a chip and need it right away.. i would not recommend this website any longer.

I origionally placed an order for the 10 pack of cheapmods on Nov. 10th Paypaled them and waited for everything to arrive. After about a week i got tired of waiting and sent them an e-mail asking what was up. Apparently they didn't have enough chips in stock to fill my order so they had to get more from another source. In the meantime i had customers lined up and waiting for these chips. Apparently the package was sent shortly after my e-mail. I recieved another e-mail on the week of thanksgiving saying that they had recieved my packeage and it had been returned to them... for whatever reason.
My money was refunded through paypal, and i was notified that if i placed my order again i would recieve a free aladdin on top of my cheapmods. I need the chips anyways and i figured they were a reliable source. I replaced my order on Nov. 23rd.
Since then i've written them a few e-mails and tried to figure out where my chips are... Their site's down, visiting their page yeilds the message "This Account Has Been Suspended. Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible.", and i'm still waiting on my chips (Dec 2nd).
It's been almost a month since i oriigionally ordered these chips... and they're still nowhere to be found.

Busy or not.... i'm really not impressed with their services. This is easily the worst xbox related order i've ever placed online... getting in touch with divineo in china was easier than this.

Can someone tell what happened to Impactmods, the site is gone and they dont answer my emails.
I have ordered 50 cheapmods from Impactmods 11-22-04. Will I ever the them or my money anymore?

I would like to apologize to ALL CUSTOMERS that have placed orders in the last 30 days. Impactmods.com was hacked approximately 18 days ago. We used osCommerce as our backbone system and were not aware of the gaping holes assoicated with using that system.

Our e-mails, website, and paypal account were harmed. Over $1200 of funds were stolen from our paypal account and we had to delete our website to ensure the safety of all current and future customers. We are dealing with paypal now to remedy the situation and all customers who have not recieved their order will recieve full refunds within 7 business days.

an update: i got in touch with impactmods again after posting, they said they would ship replacement chips for the order that I PAID FOR.
I supplied them with shipping information, never recieved my chips, and they havn't returned any e-mails after my last attempt at contacting them.

for a reputable retailer they sure know how to please a customer.
