for those of you who have trouble with some games freezing on the loading screen i tried the executer2_4978.03_xboxmulti_512k bios and then installed slayers autoinstall 2.5 and now i can play backups on any media without patching the .xbe files.

xbit 2mb bios mod chip installed with pogopins (no spacer)
samsung drive with latest firmware.

i have just copied the new james bond to my maxtor 40gb hdd and it works fine.
