Well, I posted the file up at Halomods, so try it out, and let me know what you think.

If you were wondering why I started another post, this is to grab attention, I've worked really hard on this, so please give me your feedback. Also, please read the text I posted at Halomods to also understand what's missing.

And wow, incredible mod. Keep it up (though Im sure you hear that a lot).

Really like it but theres some glitches such as by the overshield not in the center but by the ramp over there going towards the one in the middle you can't see anything at all. Anyways nice hack. Think you should make some more weapons.

The assault rifle is toooo powerful and the shotgun is not powerful enough and it shoots ina stright line dont like that thre needs to be some spread. You really need to move the blocks around so that they actually fit together. Just look at it when you play it. And it lags you need fog. Also you need fog so that when you are ina vehicle on top you dont see the blocks dissapear and fall and die. Besides what you stated that needs to be fixed i see nothing else to be done.

Thanks for the comments. It is a beta, so don't worry too much, I noticed that was a problem.

People were complaining of not being able to play CTF, and spaces between the floor, so I tried as best as I can to fix them, so please try this and let me know what you think.

i thought it was good except that the panels need a bit more work but that is about it.......and oh the lag problem when evr you look at the whole stage. try adding a bit of fog to help with this

It's already done. Much better frame count than before. I'll have the file up later on. The level looks very "Demonic" now. Starting to get that DOOM feel. biggrin.gif

uhm this mod does what,,, and enhances what,, and blah and blah,, nice wireframe
if you want people to add another patch/hack to a game that is probably already patch/hacked beyond playability you best post some pic's and a list of wtf it is.
500 man hours,, sorry to hear that,, yet glad to see your dedication, but halo is dead,, i dont care about the LIVE figures and whatever but HALO has turned into a hackers paradise,, pretty much the Counter Strike of the xbox online world.


please if you want people to try it start by telling us what in the world it is.. beside some pic's of a tv screen showing a flag that says doom.

Okay, here's the last updated Alpha until final release, which is due far from now.
It's got fog, to fix the draw distance, and clipping issues, fixed CTF mode, flags, damages, weapons, explosions, wind, globals, and a whole bunch of other shit. Go to the site I mentioned below, to the last post I made and grab the .RAR from there, and please let me know what you guys think of the fixed edition, cause it's the closest thing to finished yet. laugh.gif

I just downloaded the final fixed version, but it's too late for me to try it now. I'll try it out tomorrow when I have more time. It sounds like its getting even better than I thought it would. Thanx for all your hard work on this project. I know that when your done converting all the levels (MP and SP) to Doom levels, I'm gonna compress them all and save them as a new game called HaloDoom on my Xbox as a seperate game from Halo. It'll definately make me want to play single player again.

Do you want some help with this mod i can get all of yhose blocks on straight and fit nicely also i can help out with the damage to kinda even it out some and not to mention the rocket launcher hehe i see ppl only useing it for now on with 50 rockets and fires automatically. I wanna help casue i want to see this mod turn out right. Not saying you cant do that by yourself just want to kinda lend my hand so it wil have even game play 2 heads are better than one. biggrin.gif I really love this mod.

im really liking this mod!!! since BG is pretty much completed will we be seing single player levels with the doom monsters any time soon?? please say yes!! i cant wait to be ale to play this by myself smile.gif

Yup, but I won;t be doing all of the levels, that take forever.

I'm obviously doing the library, but tell me some other levels.

Go ahead and laugh, but I'm going to ask the question anyway. Are these .ppf's for the xbox or PC. The reason I ask is, I remember right around the time the PC game was being released. People were saying you couldn't do this on the Xbox. Well I have kept up with any of the Halo hacking since then, and it doesn't really say in any of the posts I've been reading.

This is for XBOX dude. They've been hacking Halo on XBOX way before it was for PC...

looking real good videogamebuyer. a lot's changed since the first release....for the better.

A few things that IMO should be fixed up, but you're the maker, not me.
-Nades are too powerful, IMO. I'd like to nade/jump myself across the gap in the platforms in the middle but that's nearly impossible.
-Do something with the platform near the OS cave. It's got a ramp that comes down onto it but quite tedious to get onto..make them flush or something.
-The platform that (when looking from blue) comes down at an angle almost to the ground to the right of the rocket launcher in the middle. Why does it "almost" come all the way down?
-The shotguns on the platform once you port from red base aren't visible, only the "wood" looking material is.
-I know MC runs faster, but was his jump decreased at all? It seems like it's real hard to hit the jump when you want. Vehicles all run perfect, lots of fun to drive fast on the platforms. You should make race checkpoints on them laugh.gif .

For those of you wondering me and SplitboXer tested this mod on xbconnect and it ran smooth as ever.

I'll test it some more when i get more time.
