he, i am having a problem. Idk if all TV's have this, but its really annoying. My TV always cuts off the very edges of the screen! So now i cant see the options in XBMP very well. Is ther any options wher ei can make the screen just a little smaller?
any help would be good,
(P.S. its not just XBMP, it does it with Evox and all games too.)

I would have to actually see the screen to know for sure but there is a way to 'calibrate' the screen positioning. It's under settings or something but it is there, keep looking. Good luck.

It's your TV man, I have a crappy Sylvania TV for one box, and a RCA for my room... RCA displays perfect, where-as the Svlvania always cuts Top, Bottom, And sides.... no options on tv to fix it, nor will "recalibrating" as said above:(

There is a calibration tool in XBMP 2.4 that allows you to set your boundaries on your tv. To get to it just click on the settings button on the main menu and then click on the screen settings under the general settings menu. Click on calicbrate and it will give you a triangle in the top left corner, drag it which ever direction necessary so that the hole triangle is visible and click the a button. Then it will give you one more reference point to adjust. After you have calibrated your viewable area should be set. If you have a tilt problem then you'll have to fix that in your television settings, that is if its capable of being adjusted.

The calibration tool works great for adjusting the video size (during video playback) but it does nothing to adjust the UI screen. The UI settings only allows translational (up, down, left, right) adjustments. So for all of us that have crappy TV's that cut off the screen, were pretty much screwed until they add a UI resizing feature.

yeah, i've always had the same problem. the normal xbmp skin does not cut off the bottom but the skin that i'm using and all other skins do. i don't know if it's a tv issue because i copied xbmp files over to my brother's xbox straight from mine and it showed up fine with same skin on my tv.
another thing i noticed is that if you goto to settings and select the very bottom option (on my skin the button is invisible for some reason) then you just goto apply settings (at 4:3 NTSC for me) which is already selected and it fixes the problem. however, this only fixes the problem until i restart my xbox. has anyone else noticed this?

I have the same problem with a 16:9 hdtv from hitachi so I think it is not a problem of crappy tv...
Where I can find this calibrating tool in evox?
