Hi,I apologise if this seems a daft question but I`m getting real desperate now.I somehow managed to format the drive in the Xbox (I know!!)

Ok I thought,just re-install my Slayer CD only to find that has died `an all!
Looking for another copy seeems to be impossible.All I would like to know,is there an alternative to Slayers that will at least get the HD back to it`s original state(and is easier to find!)

Any help greatly appreciated.Thanks for your time!

Not unless you made a backup of your files to disc or pc....???
BUT you didn't ! did you? or you wouldn't be here....
Search around here for #slayers, there is an irc channel where you can download it..

No quite right i didn`t back anything up.
Looks like i will have to learn how to use Mirc.Never used it before

Looks like I screwed up here people!
Managed to find Slayers Disk,but even after burning to a cdr dvdrw and cdrw it refuses to load anything.Have I killed the xbox just by erasing everything and not making a backup???

Someone please help me out (I know it was my own fault and a stupid thing to do in the first place,but have pity on a TIT!!)

alright man before you cry.... lets get a little more detail on whats happening to your xbox.

what happens when you turn it on?

if you have format your xbox it is not a big getting it back. there are lots of tutorials that can help you.

what chip do you have?
make sure you burn slayers or evolution to a cdrw {they are the same thing but slayers just makes installing other software easier


the main thing is read the tutorials. i am pretty sure you haven't killed your xbox.

Ok,it has an executer 2.3b lite installed,when i turn the thing on,i get the big x3 FTP server v1 ALPHA screen.
Apologies if this is in a tut somewhere,just can`t seem to find exactly what i`m after.Being a complete novice,I have no ideas of FTP and evox.ini stuff,all getting too much for my brain.If I could at least get the thing to boot up normal i`d be a happy man!!
