flashing a winbond TSOP with raincoat .501 and m7 bios....

wont let me install games error 'modchip doesnt support eject trick'


Any easy fix as gootta wack in a 200GB HD?

This happens to me all the time on diff XBOX's for some odd reason...

DOnt know why...But whenever I put in a Bigger HD...Then it works.....

yer i thought so

im running the retail HD


was able to install a CD rip of "Simpsons hit and run" ok


So I guess it does support the eject fix?


Must be a bug


Ill let you know how it goes when i wack in the 200GB HD

Headsup as promised!

Yer installed the 200GB drive and installed games no dramas!

Must be a bug with dash with certain setups on retail HD's cool.gif

As stated before...cdr rips seem ok to install and bypasses the modchip support screen

Yeah I still have that problem....only with retail HD's for some odd reason.....Dunno why.......Even when I try ANY bios to flash it with......O well thats why they have DVD2XBOX.....doesnt seem to care

Its happened to me twice and both boxes have the Winbond Chipset dry.gif

I saw a tute to fix this with editing the .ini file of the dash I recall.

I also recall it didnt work laugh.gif
