So my "little brother" tried to go on live w/ my chip on (xecuter 2 lite). I have configmagic on there, and know how to change my eeprom and everthing, but what do i change in it? I have a program that edits eeprom information (mac address, serial number, etc). should i just make up a serial number and mac address thats different from my original? are there certian stipulations for these numbers? i know mac address, the fist 6 digits (first 3 groups of 2) are the manufacturer's id, so i just assume leave them and change the rest. Thats all i really know.
So if i just edit the serial number and mac address will i be able to go back onto live? Is there certain criteria for edititing these values? would i need to change my ip too?
