Full Version: X 2 3 Lite Plus Installed Dvd Ejected Now What?
I Just got the X.2.3 lite plus installed the chip turned the xbox on dvd rom ejected and i show 'please insert cd-flashing mode' I tried using a memorex CD-RW to install a bios but keeps ejecting my cd. Is there anyway to get a bois on through the 007 softmod i am so stuck.
When you make the bios make sure to:
Name it bios.bin
Put in a 200-300 meg dummy file, name it like abc.dat.(To let the drive read the bios easier.)
Put these two files onto a disc and pop it in the drive. It should work then. If not, maybe try some other cd types.

if you have a mod chip you don't need any software exploits....
just make a cd like the gentleman suggested above, 10 to 1 you aren't burning the cd right. maybe you should try dvd-r?
what dvdrom do you have in your xbox?
ps i would name the dummy file to 000.000 b/c the purpose of the dummy file is to PUSH the bios.bin furthur away from the center to make it easier to read. so you'd want to make sure your dummy file is burned before the bios.bin file

Memorex Cd-rw should work. I think ur prob was not burning the disc right. Make sure to name the bios file bios.bin too.

that's the problem.... thompson is pretty bad about reading media... try a different name brand cd-rw and put a bigger dummy file on it (like 500-600 megs)
keep trying and eventually it will read man. you might have to try 30-40 times with the same disc.
this is why i got an xbit with usb flashing when i found out i had a thompson. too much headache dealing with cd-r/w's. but my thompson did read slayers 2.5 on a hp cd-rw that came with my dvd burner on the first try and each time after when i booted to it
might wanna try that
if yo uknow someone else with a modchip you cna hotflash it, but thats about it, 007 wont work because you cant boot the game with the cromwell bios
