Hi All,
My friend installed his Xenium using the Pin-header.
When he boots up he the Xenium goes RED and does not boot into the Xenium Flash ?
The front flashes green and reboots itself, is it a bad chip or did he miss something ?
If he removes the chip, the XBOX does not boot.
Thanks

Hi there
I am THAT friend and here's some more information -
I have a xbox version1.0 (old school)
And when I try booting up, the front flashes green briefly, shuts down, repeats that once again, and then the third time, I get FRAG until I turn it off. And all the while, the xenium LED is a solid red. Also, the hard drive beeps as it shuts down during the green flashes.
And ideas?
Thanks
indiggio

Help,
I'm in the same boat. I've check the PIN header and solders appear to be fine.
Is there anything else that can be checked? Any way to VERIFY the solders beyond visual?

check the d0 point, use a multimeter on all points check for connection / bridging (between lpc points, and between soldered pts and motherboard)

Make sure all the cables are connected, including video.

Don't worry about the d0 point as it will be fine. (Otherwise you wouldnt get a FRAG)
Resolder your LPC though.
