I have a V 1 with a solderless matrix, Everthing has been great so far. Recently as it sometimes does the chip needs to be realigned. So like I usually do I realigned it. I turned it back on and it would not boot the Xbox flashes green and red and the screen says I should call a service provider. I have added a 120GB HD and have backed up my collection. Any ideas as to what is wrong.

Thanks in advance

Did you lock the new HD after installing it ?

Check the IDE/Power adapters in the back of the harddrive(More likely the IDE(Grey ribbon cable)) If you re-aligned the chip than that means you had to pull the cords out, and it's possible that you didn't put them in fully.

I used slayers to install, so I do not know if the HD is locked.
