I just modded another box with an xbit, and am trying to get Evox installed on a 160GB Maxtor drive. Since it's a fresh drive, I'd like to format one large F: parition and not worry about a G:.

I flashed the xbit with an M7 bios that I used xbtool to enable lba48 support on (partition6 takes up remainder). After rebuilding the drive ("rebuild large C: drive") with Slayers, I boot to Error13.

I have M7 in another bios slot which I only colored - I did not check off lba48 support. When I boot the drive with this bios enabled, it boots fine (but obviously only sees ~130GB).

I've tried simply using the Slayer's "rebuild large drive" option, as well as seperately formatting the drive and installing evox only.

When I boot the Slayers disk with the lba48-enabled bios, Evox does see the a ~150GB F: drive, so the bios appears to be OK.

I ftp to the box and evoxdash.xbe is there (plus, the other non-lba48 boots ok).

Any ideas?

Nevermind.

I used xbtool to reenable lba48 on a freshly downloaded copy of M7, then reflashed with that, and it's working fine now. Once nice big 151gb F: drive.
